Pastor Toby Slough : Cross Timber Community Church

Toby M. Slough is the Senior Pastor of Cross Timbers Community Church in Argyle, Texas, a multi-site church of three campuses and over 4,500 weekly attendees. He is the author of two books: Living the Dream and The Great Adventure. Toby graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1986, and began his ministry reaching high school students in San Antonio, Texas, and Oklahoma City. Shortly, doors opened for him to travel nationwide encouraging teenagers and youth workers. In 1993, he and his family moved to Southlake, Texas, where he served as Preaching Minister for Southlake Boulevard Church. It was there that God gave him a dream to plant a church in the rural community of Argyle. In 2000, along with 12 families, Toby fulfilled that dream when he started Cross Timbers in the back of a bar. Toby feels blessed to have married “way over his head.” He and his wife Mika have celebrated more than 20 years of marriage and have two children: a daughter, Bailey, and a son, Ross. Toby readily admits that his children bring him more joy than any one man could ask for. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and playing golf very badly.

Pastor Brandon Thomas : Keystone Church

Brandon and his wife, Susan, founded Keystone Church in the fall of 2004. They began meeting in their home and quickly ran out of room. After just four weeks in their home, they moved to Hillwood Middle School. After experiencing rapid growth in the school, Brandon led Keystone to Think BIG and signed a lease on a furniture store that had gone out of business. The entire church joined together and gave generously of their time, hard work, and resources to prepare a place that anyone could experience the life-changing connection with God.
